don't be a hater





THIS post is for all of you people who think Valentine's Day is silly.


not! at least, martha and i don't think so :)
sigh. i wish i had a million hours between today and sunday, to make every heart shaped thing on the planet. as it is, i plan to use my new cool cookie cutter, and make my dad some heart-shaped cookies.

here's to heart-shaped lovin'!

Ok. Here's the confession. The Wonder Hub is THE WORST valentine EVER. I think that's why I've come to dread this holiday. I've just had an epiphany, though. I'm going to try to rock HIS socks off this year, and work on not expecting anything for me. I'll start with the brownies.

yeah, you are starting to get it. if i based it on how people treated ME, it would probably be rather pitiful and sad to recall. but since i was a little kid, with the brown bag full of valentines for everybody ELSE that i was really excited about, i have loved loved loved the day. i think there is a message in that thought, don't you?

You are not alone Karen-my hubby can also be hit and miss on the v-day celebration:)I do love getting and doing things for others on valentine's day, guess I am not a total love scrooge

Yeeeaaaaah. I think I've just shown how yucky my heart really is...especially next to yours, Bob. Ah well, it felt good to unload and now I'm set off on another path. Thanks!

oh gosh karen, we just have different experiences with Vday...that's it. trust me, my heart is not all that good ;)

go read kristie lou's blog. THAT is my interpretation of Vday :)
