but yesterday i discovered that i can have a professional phone conference about a *very important thing* and also wash, prep and chop rhubarb at the same time.
i wonder if i could work my way up to a corner office with THAT kind of skill?!
oh, believe me, i'd be really bragging if had GROWN the rhubarb. alas, i got it from my mom :)
mine is just a little sprig. will take a few years before i am harvesting....
your garden is GORGEOUS!!! i am jealous. i sat phillip down at the computer to read your blog last night. he says you have alot of veggies :)) and animals :)))
Pretty neat Bob. Yummy! I will be waiting to bring some strawberry rhubarb stuff home for Rick. Can you bake during a *really important phone meeting*?? Gee I hope so. K~
NICE, my son is anxiously waiting for us to plant some, AFTER we get grass. He loves it right off the stalk dipped in sugar. When I need planting hints I will be getting a hold of you!

Wow - that is worth bragging about!! My rhubarb didn't even sprout. Want to trade some lettuce for rhubarb?

nice multi-tasking. sometimes i wash dishes or dust during my meetings.

i'm gonna listen for the sound of a knife or running water next time we're on the phone! ;)
You are so bragging.
How can you already have so much to show for your garden? Could it possibly be all that rain you've been whining about??
Oh, just read that you got it from your ma. My apologies. :-)
I did find a nice jar of strawberry-rhubarb preserves down at the historic Occoquan coffee house (my new fave hangout). You should come check it out.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
