this is what's left of the spot where my cherry tree used to be after saturday night. unlike george washington however, the %^&* person who did it just yanked it out by the roots instead of chopping it down. i doubt that george cut HIS tree down to be spiteful, although i guess you never know. people suck sometimes.
never fear though. stores sell cherry trees, and i got a new one. will plant it tonite, and stand 24 hour watch at the window...!
on a completely unrelated note, this pic is for kirsten!! aaaaaaaaaaagggghhhh! the false indigo is so insanely cool, i cannot stand it!!!!!

it does not disappoint, but you should place it in a part sun/part shade area.
kirsten recommeded it to me a couple years ago, i got this one at highland nursery in st. paul!

actually, annie, i do kind of think somebody took it in a car!! there were "dirt" tracks to the alley, then nothing!!
yeah. sigh. i try to keep saying "it's just a tree" but i was thinking of the poor thing laying somewhere dying a horrible death yesterday.

anne, it was a one year old STICK. sure, somebody stole it. but i doubt they did it to beautify their yard, unless they have alot of patience. i would rather somebody PLANT it than throw it in the alley!
either way, i will not be stopped :)))
