in my never ending quest to imagine what kind of items i would sell in my "dream store," i found this amazing painter on etsy.
his work is so simple, yet says so much. i have NEVER been a huge bird fan (as in, "let's get a parakeet" kind of person), but lately, i think they are pretty. i still like birds from a distance, but i would have a grouping of these in my house.
some day.

I hope you always have a fresh pot of coffee on at the store. I'm pretty sure I'll want to sit down and stay for awhile.
Wow...how beautiful!! At work there is a donated finch aviary that has two of the multi colored finch there. They are beautiful. K~
Very pretty, and springy! A grouping in like a guest bedroom would look great I think.
When I opened your blog this morning, the picture was so real I actually for a minute thought you got a parakeet!
Congrats to Phil for his job.
