so, i'm 44 squares into my 169 square crochet project.
i am waning a bit, though. i mean, after about 36 squares, it's kinda "been there, done that." however, i am determined to stick with it to the end...which hopefully will coincide with the end of 2008.
unfortunately, not so determined that my eyes did not wander a bit to see what else i might be able to dream up.
i found these books, and promptly ordered both. maybe a little eye candy will not hurt my dedication to the 169 project. ya think?

I was thinking the other day about creative-ness. I decided that words do for me what crafty eye-candy does for you.
Whaddya think?
yes, i think so.
i mean, i cannot go thru an HOUR without wanting some kind of graphic stimulation. it makes me crazy, but on the other hand, i LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
i cannot help but believe all our brains are hot-wired to something that we MUST do. i think God intended it that way, because we are all reflections of what He CAN do.
i think words are pretty, too :)
And I think pictures are pretty, but I spend all my thoughts thinking about how to put words together, and um, I do a fair amount of reading. I crave words.
:-)
And yes, we are wired to do what God wants us to do. I love that about Him. So what does that tell you about your shop idea??
Hey bob, I always have to have a least 2 projects going at one time. I get bored too. I also seem to get a bit impatient. I have looked at the motif book and have considered buying it. I will get you some good crochet websites soon. K~
thanks Kirst, i needed to know it's okay to do something else :) i want to make a hemp or bamboo bag soon, so that is probably something small i can work on.
karen. i AM going to see that dream realized, either here or in Heaven :)
karen, i love words so much that i often READ BOOKS I HAVE NEVER READ in my dreams, and the words flow smooth and fast (even big words i don't know). it always amazes me.
I could read every book in the WORLD if I read in my dreams! That is seriously cool.
Just got the CDD reference!
I don't know what my brain is hardwired for. Never have. Is that pathetic?
