punkin love

whew.

the sun is out and i am feeling alive again.

one thing i wanted to share with you mommy types, or even you people who work with a bunch of children, or those of you who make treats for bible studies, etc. whatever. if you like pumpkins, you might like this little item i saw on a craft blog. it originated from, who else, MARTHA.

cute, huh?
i think it would be a great way for moms like Carey to impress her son's teacher by sending these with him for his class!

happy day all, hope the sun is shining on you as well!

Yeah, E's teacher would sure love it if someone brought her some of those!

How the heck do you make them?

nice. no pressure there.

i told bobbi this story--i've been sending class treats with jace to school for milk break (parents are asked to help with treats). nothing much, stuff like golfish crackers. the other day i asked him if the kids liked his treats, and he said "everybody on the bus had some." apparently, he's been sharing his treats on the bus and they never even make it to class like they are supposed to.

the teacher must think i'm a huge loser. doh.

These are really cute! How do you make 'em? Looks like something I could handle!

HA! Carey--you should get used to that now, it will save you so much pain. Remember when E wore his shirts backwards for a whole year?

Their job is to embarrass us now--we'll get 'em back when they're teenagers.

Ok, now I get it! They are very cute. I wish we could celebrate holidays in our classrooms, I would give this idea to my teachers, but we can't. I may think about doing this for my office friends though!
