weekend wrapup

ah. second day in a row of sunshine! even though it's still well below freezing (and normal), having the sunshine out makes a big dent in the 'sad' that everyone has been experiencing.

since saturday was still grey and cloudy but kind of warm, i got a start to cleaning off the flower beds. things are quite behind normal in growth, but to be honest, everything looks fine. just small. when the weather warms up, all will be well.

can you guess what i am making? quick trip to the 'lobby' on saturday, and a new little project. i need to finish it up by friday, as it is for an expecting friend....

and then, there was Easter sunday. what a beautiful day! the promise of the sun and warmth was the perfect compliment to the Risen Christ. i enjoyed the day with my family in the gazebo watching the world go by. driving home, i was reminded of the crazy SD spring...this is a couple miles from my parent's house. i still dream about this particular stretch of road's etched in my memory. thankfully, no houses have been built in this area where the river generally overflows some every spring.

schwew. another monday, and my last week of school. i have almost made it! so excited and so ready to be into this new season fully. hope you all have a good week!

I'm so glad you got SUN on Easter!

Having a week's worth of your posts to read was kind of like having dessert for breakfast. :-)

It's good to be back! I am soooooo tired. There are 400 million things to be done, and even procrastination takes too much effort.

it's raining here again. sigh. trying to not be sad, but i'm feeling S.A.D.
