i need your help. well, actually it'll be a little late by the time i get a response, but oh well.
i have a meeting within the hour, and i'm going to wear this newfangled thing. you know, the dress over jeans look?! i bought this sundress a couple weeks ago, and although it's adorable, i am worried it's a bit short for me. i love love love the turquoise and brown idea tho (kristie, don't say a word).
so, i put a pair of jeans on under, as well as a brown tank top. and a light blue cardigan for good measure.
YES or NO? it's cute, but is it 44 year old chubby girl cute? will this client rethink his decision to hire me? well, that might be a good thing, but still. don't want him to think i'm a little too artsy for my own good.
ah. being a girl is sometimes challenging.

Can you be too artsy for your own good??? I would say go for it, as long as you can feel comfortable and confident. Also--brown and turquoise ROCK together, so you've got that going for you.
Totally cute!! Of course I LOVE the colors! But I also think its cute with jeans. The old wise man I work with (Mike) says that "If you are a little scared it means you are growing..."

"oh, i see you are expecting a little one there"

Nice. Will you wear that one again? In Germany, you could wear it and get one of the good "Mutter und Kind" parking spots.
Bob--saw a woman in a linen dress over jeans at my SBucks date this morning and thought of you! She looked great, and I'm sure you did, too.
you know, it will not deter me, although i did NOT wear it to bible study tonite.
if i do look pregnant, i am a DARN CUTE pregnant looking person with that get up on, i swear :)

oh, and Lou, you can tell mike that i "grew" so much by wearing that outfit that apparently i looked pregnant.
