I'm doing fine. :-) The headaches are gone (although today is the first completely headache-free day). I have been doing some green tea, but weaning myself slowly from that. On day 2, the men in my house begged me to have some caffeine, and I was happy to oblige. We went out for breakfast Sunday and everyone at the table had coffee. It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. My goal is to do 30 days, and then just have a cup on Saturday mornings. It's funny, because I think I'm jonesing as much for the sugar in the CoffeeMate as I am for the coffee itself.

yes.

sugar is harder than coffee, for sure. i still crave it, it's been over a month.

i am going to do the same as you! once my bladder is healed, i will drink a cup now and then and LOVE it, but not covet it every day. i hope.

glad you are on your way.
now, if i could just eat tomatoes - not really any good substitues for those!!!!!!!

NO TOMATOES???? Is that just the 30 day plan, or the six-month plan? I can't imagine that God would grow you all those beautiful tomatoes and not let you eat them.

well, i am going to can them for later and wish for the best.

no, top 5 foods that harm your bladder:

coffee/tea/caffeine
tomatoes
multi-vitamins
alcohol
tobacco

thank GOD i don't drink or smoke. he he.

It's slightly reminiscent of my kidney stone list, not that I take it to heart. It goes:

No peanuts or pb
No dark cola
No dark green leafy veggies
No tea

Well, I don't drink cola, but pb is a food group and why on earth would I give up the dark green leafies?? I used to do only herbal tea, but now the green tea is key to my being kind to my family. So, yeah. One outta four isn't so hot, but they have amazing procedures that blast kidney stones to oblivion so I figure I'm good.
