i woke up this morning thinking about last friday, when i got to travel to sioux city to see michael w. smith and steven curtis chapman.
i think the neat part is that much of the concert was spent watching their friendship, how their lives have been connected by music, and the highs and lows that happen in life.
kind of reminds me of a couple of my very good friends. aren't you thankful that God made relationships?
i'm kind of glad someone decided to make the beautiful orpheum theatre in sc, too.
happy monday!

glad you had a good time. i haven't been to the orpheum since rob thomas...it IS pretty.
and yes, I am blessed to have you in my life, even if we can't sing together.
i am so blessed to have amazing friends ;)
i have been thinking a lot about the concert too. it was so fun, such good music and it was so cool to see all the guys together. how they supported each other was amazing. i don't know...it was just special ;)
Bobbi!!! You were there?!? I was too! I would have totally loved to find you and say 'hi!' Dang it! That would have made a good night a great night!
Actually, there was a big Sunnybrook contingent that would have loved to see you: Jeff, Chuck, Laurie, etc.
Good concert though, huh? I have to admit -- SCC was totally my favorite. Just can't beat that man's authentic presence on stage.
I've never been a huge MWS fan, but SCC is the dearest, sweetest man on the planet earth. I would have gone just to see him. I hope that God uses performing to heal him, you know?
ellen!
ellen! i think i saw jeff at lucianos (spelling probably not correct) but i was afraid to look too much in case it was not him :))
dang. i cannot believe i did not think that you would be there!
karen, it was amazing watching SCC and his son Caleb, talking about their dear maria, and how God is healing them.
I have friend that went to that concert too. She thought it was as amazing as you described. Madison gets to do her dance recital to the song "Cinderella" by SCC. I've heard it every week since December when her class started learning it and I NEVER get tired of hearing it. Although I get teared up everytime. Just wait 'til the real recital...I'll need a box of kleenexs to get through! Anyway, glad you had such a great time.
Bob, that is exactly what I was hoping they would do!!
