brrrrr. -11 this morning, but the sun is shining.
last night, as the wind howled outside, i started thinking about how blessed i am. i had a warm, warm blankie. and a working furnace. and electricity. and a big screen tv. and a big fluffy duvet to look forward to sleeping with. and a big pot of soup in the fridge.
this morning, as the world adjusts to the cold outside, i am very thankful for my little warm spot...

Warm is good, last night we put blankets in the dryer to get toasty warm and watched tv under them-it was wonderful
ok, love the elephant! i was thinking the same kind of thing last night. I was watching the news and the economy has sent so many people to shelters. They interviewed this woman that could have been anyone of us. She lost her job, then her house, now she's there. K~
We have had the same kind of cold temps as you, so I am thankful for my electic blankets. The one on my couch and the one on my bed!:)
