I think you could be a professional blogger, Bob. I love your posts!I've been thinking about cherries and jam when it hit me that Mel has a cherry tree AND one of those cherry-pitter doohickeys. I've never made jam, but I bet I could sweet-talk my daddy into teaching me..
it's a very rewarding activity, and jam is the PERFECT little housewarming/hostess gift for people. esp. with a loaf of homemade bread....:) have fun on your trip home!
those are beautiful flowers, b.My sister almost cleaned out the cherry tree yesterday. She has a ton of jam and dried cherries to add to breads and such...glad someone could use them this year, cuz I had no 'gumption to get it done.
