it was actually a pretty crappy weekend here. SUPER cold and windy. i am starting to be a little crabby about that. patience, i keep hearing, patience.... :)
so, i went to the grocery store and saw lemons. i don't know about you, but the sight of a bin of lemons cheers me up quite quickly. i've been wanting to make lemon curd for quite some time now, so i brought a bunch home. oh my my. lemon curd is divine.
i did not have any scones handy, so i ate it like this:
whipped cream, strawberries and lemon curd. the perfect cure to a lemony weekend :)
ps. this morning is new however, the day looks promising! happy monday!
