that's the M.O. for S.F. today. very bizarre for april! i have visions of drought and awfulness in the upcoming months. i wish i had more faith ;)
i am happy to report i have a handy man on a trial basis. today he installed the ceiling fans that i have had in the garage since last fall. ceiling fans have many, many small parts.
tomorrow, he is going to clean the gutters and possibly install gutter guards, depending on the estimate. oh, and hook up the rain barrel.
i may go buy a lawn mower tonite, and hire him for assembly.
then, i have on the list:
door/window trim
pantry in kitchen
tiling in bathroom
it might be cheaper to date and find a husband ;))

Your house is so cute!! Sounds like you have a major case of spring fever cleanup.
if it wasn't on the brink of baseball season I would volunteer the handy hubby... our project season comes after August and before May, except for a few exceptions like painting the house...sigh...

oh ladies, i am happiest during spring cleanup.
...only joking about the husband, i know that hiring a guy for a few hours every spring is MUCH easier than living with one ;))
